I know this isn’t really new, but lately I’ve been hearing music “mashups”. I really like that term. With music, they take two songs and sort of blend them together. Usually two very familiar songs that get “mashed up” into a new song that sort of has a whole new vibe.
Really diggin’ it, so although I’ve done this before… I decided to start doing it again and call them “Photo Mashups”. Only difference is that I’m going to use images that are of the same subject, but different versions and angles.
Here are a couple I did recently: “Auburn” ~ a photo mashup of two Auburn car detail shots, and “My Precious” ~ a photo mashup of two images I made from a store display window. Both made in Fredericksburg, Texas.
